As the European-based international capital markets arm of the Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, MUSI is active in the equity, fixed income, derivatives, structured products markets in addition to corporate advisory work. It provides a wide range of services in the world-wide securities and derivatives business to governments, their monetary authorities and central banks, supra-national and sub-national organisations, private financial institutions (e.g. banks, insurance funds, etc.) and corporations.

MUSI is engaged in market-making and dealing in the debt, equity-linked and derivatives financial markets; the management and underwriting of issues of securities and securities investment. The Company has a staff of approximately 500 people based in London.

MUSI is authorised and regulated by The Financial Services Authority (FSA) and is a member of the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA) and the Futures and Options Association (FOA). It is also an associate member of The International Swaps and Derivatives Association (ISDA).

MUSI has one subsidiary, TMI Nominees Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales which acts as a nominee holder of registered securities for those clients of MUSI to whom custody services are provided.
